Worldwide Home Decor Pty Ltd (ABN 51 694 168 477) handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page covers this website. It does not cover Order, which has its own terms.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site:
- Trade application: company, ABN, contact name, phone, work email, state, business type, current suppliers, expected volume and any notes.
- Contact form: who you are (retail partner, trade or homeowner), name, company, email, phone and your message.
- Blinds and shades register interest: company, work email and the products you are interested in.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, to assess a trade application (including confirming the ABN, a credit check and two trade references, as the application form says), and to tell retail partners when blinds and shades are ready to order. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or rent it.
Where it is kept
Each submission is saved in a database hosted in Sydney (Neon) and emailed to the Worldwide office in Castle Hill. The website itself runs on servers in Sydney (Fly.io).
Office emails are sent through Resend, an email service based in the United States, so the details in a form pass through their systems on the way to the office.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are deleted from the website's database automatically 24 months after they are sent.
The email copy sent to the office is kept in Worldwide's mailbox with our other business correspondence. To have your details deleted sooner, email info@worldwidehomedecor.com.au.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts, images and video are served from this site, not from other companies. To stop automated spam, the forms check how fast they were filled in and how often they are sent from the same connection; that check is not stored with your details.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time.
