What is covered
Shutters supplied by Worldwide Home Decor Pty Ltd are warranted against:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Structural integrity of frames, panels and louvres
- Paint and powder-coat finish against peeling and flaking
- Operating hardware: hinges, tilt rods and locks
Term
The warranty period runs from the date of despatch from the Sydney warehouse, for the term shown for each range in the table above. It covers residential installation under normal use.
What is not covered
Misuse, accidental damage and unauthorised modification. Damage from incorrect installation, or exposure beyond the product's stated use (for example timber shutters in wet areas), and normal wear, including the natural movement of timber.
How to make a claim
Claims are made through your retail partner, who lodges them with Worldwide (in Order, coming soon):
- Contact Worldwide quoting your order number
- Supply photos and a description of the issue
- We assess and arrange repair or replacement
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This warranty is in addition to those rights.
